Zubie A. Tidwell

ZUBIE A. TIDWELLwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on August 25, 1914 the daughter of the late Arch and Rosa Austin. On February 28, 1928 she was united in marriage to Bill Tidwell, who preceded his wife in death on April 23, 1993.Mrs. Tidwell was a housekeeper for a motel. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Mrs. Tidwell departed this life on February 4, 2009 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 94 years, 5 months and 10 days.She is survived by 4 daughters, Peggy Austin, Patsy Choate, Carolyn Qualls, all of Savannah, Tennessee and Marie Wilkins of Adamsville, Tennessee2 sons, Billy Junior Tidwell of Decatur, Alabama and Pete Tidwell of Savannah, Tennessee17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildrenMrs. Tidwell was also preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Neil Tidwell, 3 grandchildren, Macye Nannette Choate, Bryan Choate and Michel Austin, one great-grandchild, Jason Neil Tidwell, one brother and 5 sisters.
