She was a member of the Savannah church of Christ. She loved vegetable and flower gardens and loved to do search a word puzzles and loved to make quilts. Ms. Cossey departed this life on July 28, 2008 at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 90 years, 2 months and 25 days.She is survived by one son, Ovid L. Cossey and his wife Ann of Savannah, Tennessee3 grandchildren, Randy and Daryl Cossey and Cheryl Saum5 great-grandchildren, Blake and Brooke Cossey and Parker, Connor and Grant SaumOther than her parents, Ms. Cossey was also preceded in death by 4 sisters, Ollie Cossey, Myrtle White, Thelma Cossey and Loise Scott and 4 brothers, Auther, Harley, Luther and Emmitt Cossey.Services were held Thurs. July 31, 2008 at 3PM in the Shackelford Chapel with Howard Rogers officiating. Burial in Memory Gardens.
