Woodrow Wilson Brownwas born in Wayne County, Tennessee on December 24, 1917 the son of the late Finley and Dorey Stricklin Brown.Mr. Brown had worked as a masonry mortar mixer before retiring. He was of Pentecostal belief.Mr. Brown departed this life on Friday, October 10, 2008 at the age of 90 years, 9 months, 16 days. Mr. Brown is survived by his wife: Bessie Leona Hodge Brown of Savannah, Tennessee; 4 stepdaughters: Teresa Petrie, Mary Oliver, Linda Milam, and Joyce Mitchell; a stepson: Dennis Barnett; 2 sisters: Irene Harville and Geraldine Clark both of Savannah, Tennessee; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, Mr. Brown was preceded in death by a son: David Ray Brown; 4 brothers: Luther Brown, John David Brown, Earldine Brown, and Billy Brown; 3 sisters: Bonnie Ricketts, Lucille Hunt, and Gladys Marie Brown; a grandson: Curtis Allon Bonee.
