Winnie Williams departed this life on Saturday, June 8, 2013, at the age of 59 years, 6 months, 23 days.He was born in Memphis, Tennessee on November 16,1953, the son of the late Gordon and Betty Jo Robinson Williams. On February 23, 1991, he was united in marriage to Lucretia Mooneyham, who survives.Winnie was an outdoorsman, loved motorcycles, and horseback riding. He also loved sports: baseball, basketball, and water-skiing. Winnie had been a towboat tankerman with the merchant marines and was leatherworker, he was known as "Leatherman".Winnie is survived by his wife, Lucretia Williams of Shiloh, Tennessee; sons. Dillon S. Williams of Shiloh, Tennessee and Brandon Newcomb of Corinth, Mississippi; 2 granddaughters; brothers, Stan C. Williams of Sherman, Mississippi.
