Winnie Luella Brown, 85, of Bolivar, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Pine Meadows Healthcare & Rehabilitation.
The wife of Johnnie Brown, who survives, she was a nurse at Western Mental Health Institute. Mrs. Brown was born December 7, 1921 in Bolivar, daughter of the late Troy and Odella Lierd Lowrance and lived here all of her life. She was a member of Hornsby Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, whom she married August 12, 1962, survivors include three daughters, Peggy and Carolyn Hill, both of Bolivar and Judy Bryant of Somerville; one step-daughter, Mary Ann Hanley of Brownsville; two step-sons, Larry Brown of Memphis and Johnnie Wayne Brown of Brownsville and seventeen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Gordon Jackson.
