Wilma Wilson Wright

Wilma Orlene Wilson Wright, was born September 9, 1952 in Florence,AL the daughter of Wilma Erlene Glass WIlson of Waynesboro and the late Orlie Earl Wilson.

Ms. Wilma departed this life at the Maury Regional Hospital on January 29, 2016 in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 63 Years, 4 Months, 20 Days.

Ms .Wilma is survived by a daughter, Mary Jerusa Davis and husband Dan of Knoxville, TN; sons Joshua Wright of Florence AL, James Bartlett Wright Jr. of Loretto, TN, Micah John Wright of Iron City, TN; a brother, Wayne David Wilson of Nashville;three grandchildren, Ava Victoria, Mia Alexandria Wright and Alexandria Anne Davis.

She was a devoted mother who loved the outdoors and had an afffinity for animals. She was employed with the Wayne County School System at the Collinwood High School for fifteen years,she also served in Birmingham,AL for three years as a police officer.

In addition to her father, Ms. Wilma was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Wilson.

Services will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Father Stephen Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Railroad Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, Feb. 2nd. 5:00--8:00 pm and on Wednesday, Feb. 3rd. 10:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home Collinwood, TN
