Wilma Jean Westmoreland

Wilma Jean Westmoreland was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on November 24, 1944 the daughter of the late Henry Leon and Offie Mae Sweat Kennedy.On January 16, 1987 she was united in marriage to Gary H. Westmoreland who survives. Mrs. Westmoreland was a homemaker and a member of the Parkway Baptist Church in Columbia, Tennessee. She was known as a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She departed this life on March 15, 2007 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 62 years, 3 months and 19 days.Mrs. Westmoreland is survived by her husband, Gary H. Westmoreland of Columbia, Tennessee; one daughter, Tammie Canada of Brownsville, Tennessee; three sons: Earl Young of Savannah, Tennessee, Jeff Young of Columbia, Tennessee and Greg Bonee of Savannah, Tennessee; six grandchildren: Craig Young, Brandon Young, Lucy Young, Payton Bonee, Cade Canada and Kennedy Canada; one great-grandchild, Sydney Young and one sister, Carolyn Burrow of Lexington, Tennessee.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wilburn Kennedy.
