Wilma Opal Phillips
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on June 17, 1920 the daughter of the late Richard and Viney Stinnett.
On July 9, 1938 she was united in marriage to William “Pat†Phillips who preceded her in death on April 3, 2001.
Mrs. Phillips worked as a cook at West Hardin Elementary School and was a member of Bethlehem Methodist Church.
She departed this life on November 19, 2005 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 85 years, 5 months and 2 days.
Mrs. Phillips is survived by 2 grandsons: Lance Phillips of Savannah, Tennessee and Paul Phillips of Adamsville, Tennessee; 2 great-grandchildren and a daughter-in-law, Rose Harmon of Savannah.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry Wayne Phillips.
