Graveside services for Wilma Hayes, 92, Florence, AL, will be today, May 21, 2008 at 3 pm at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Lutts, TN with Donald Townsley officiating and Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Brewer, Steve, Jeremy, and Tyler Couch, Roger and Rusty Delano. Honorary pallbearers will be her church family.Visitation will be today from 1 pm to 2:30 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood, TN.She died at ECM Hospital, Florence, AL, Monday, May 19, 2008.Mrs. Hayes, a native of Iuka, MS, was a homemaker and a member of Underwood Heights Church of Christ. She was preceded in death her parents, Millard and Ida Thornberg Gilchrist, her husband, Clifford Hayes, and son, Herschel Hayes.Survivors, grandchildren, Jerry Hayes, Florence; Regina (Roger) Delano, Newton, NC; Lisa (Steve) Couch, Florence; seven great-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; half-sisters, Myrtle Dean, Marie Gilchrist, both of Florence.
