Mrs. Graves passed away Friday afternoon at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The widow Harold Hobart Graves, who died on January 16, 2009, she was retired from the Ames Plantation in 2001 where she was Manor House hostess for 27 years. She was born to Linley Hicks Black and Emma Lee Evans Black,both of whom preceded her in death, had lived in Memphis for 15 years prior to moving back here in 1962. She had previously worked for Sears in Memphis for 10 years and was a member of Grand Junction First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Eison of Halls; a son, Duane A. Graves of Maryville; a sister, Flora Garey of Savannah; four grandchildren, Andrea Grisanti, Rachel Tinker and Kelly and Nicholas Winston, and one great grandson, Allen Tinker.
