Wilma Jean Fisher

Services for Wilma Jean Denney Fisher, age 67 of Florence, AL formerly of Waynesboro will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Green River Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Cal Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of arrangements.She was born July 27, 1941 in Martinsville, Indiana the daughter of the late Floyd Eugene and Justine Louise Anderson Denney. Mrs. Fisher departed this life Friday, August 22, 2008 at Glenwood Rehabilitation and Convalescent Center in Florence, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband Phillip Wayne Fisher. While living in Waynesboro, she was a member of Green River Baptist Church where she was employed as a secretary/receptionist and pastoral assistant, positions she held until her retirement. She also was a former member of Womens Auxillary. Presently, she was a member of Woodmont Baptist Church in Florence, AL.She is survived by daughters, Kristien R. Felt of Texas and Suzanne R. Mills of Florence, AL; five grandchildren, Stephanie Bernard, Seth Mills, Samantha Mills, John Felt, and Josh Felt.
