Wilma Faye Farris

Wilma Faye Farris was born June 10, 1946 in Corinth, MS, the daughter of the late Ocie Hershel and Rachel Mae Gray Poindexter.Miss Farris was a caregiver, she loved taking care of her own children and opened her home and heart to other chilldren. She attended the Michie Church of God of Prophecy in Michie, TN. She loved life, dancing, being outside working in her yard and her flowers. In her younger years, she spending time with her family at Pickwick.Miss Farris departed this life on May 5, 2013 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 66 Years, 10 Months, 25 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Davison and husband Jay of Michie, TN; two grandchildren, Dylan and Kyle Duncan; two sisters, Barbara Whitten of Selmer, TN, Edith Campbell and husband Gary of Selmer, TN; two brothers, Junior Poindexter and wife Stella of Michie, TN, Pud Poindexter and wife Imogene of Michie, TN; host of nieces, nephews and extended family.In addition to her parents, Miss Farris was preceded in death by two sisters, Wilma Ruth Whitten, Juanita Poindexter.
