Wilma Inez Galloway Cossar, of Saulsbury, died Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at Bolivar General Hospital.
The widow of Charles Elmo Cossar, who died November 10, 2003, she was a beautician and LPN and had worked at Brint’s Hospital. Mrs. Cossar was born in Hardeman County, daughter of the late Philan and Lillian Bailey Galloway and had lived in Hardeman County all of her life. She played several musical instruments, was an avid sewer and taught Sunday School at West Memorial Baptist Church where she was a clerk for 20 years.
Services were 11 AM Thursday, August 25, 2005 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Mickey Cossar and Dennis Callahan officiating. Burial was in West Memorial Cemetery near Saulsbury.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Cossar Brown of Saulsbury and Marilyn Cossar Hammers of Somerville; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Ann Cossar and a son, Charles Philip Cossar and sister, Sarah Frances Roy.
