Willodean Odle

Willodean Franklin Odle of Collinwood, TN was born in Lawrence Co., TN, the daughter of the late Charlie and Minnie Lee Franklin. She was united in marriage to Henry Odle on May 2, 1947 and he preceded her in death on April 13, 1987.

Mrs. Odle was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother . She was a member of the Collinwood Church of God in Collinwood, Tennessee.

Mrs. Odle departed this life on Sunday, August 23, 2015 in Waynesboro, Tennessee at Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She is survived by sons, Paul Elbert Odle, Sr. and wife, Sherry of Waynesboro, TN and Jerry Henry Odle and wife, Pam of Olive Hill, TN; a daughter, Wanda K. Odle Thompson and husband, Maynard of Collinwood, TN; grandchildren, Michael Thompson, Chris Thompson, Paul Odle, Jr., Tracy Odle, Amanda Wilson, Kim Sherrills, Maggie Odle, Brandi Bundrant and Jamie Odle;
18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Odle was preceded in death by a son, James Doyle Odle; brothers, Howard, Arnold and Buell Franklin; sisters, Blanch, Hazel and Leslie Franklin.

Services will be Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Michael Mathers and Richard Bane officiating. Burial will follow in the Copeland Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County directing. Pallbearers will be Michael Thompson, Hunter Thompson, Paul Odle, Jr., Tracy Odle, Jamie Odle and Nick Sherrills. Honorary pallbearers will be Kobe Thompson, Austin Wilson, Jeff Franklin, Tyler Thompson and Greg Sherrills.

Visitation will be Monday, August 24, 2015 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Tuesday, August 25, 2015 from 8 am until service time at the funeral home in Waynesboro, TN.
