Was born on September 5, 1930 in Wayne County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Archie Roosevelt and Ollie E. Adkisson Burns.
During her life, Ms. Burns had lived in the Houston Community for several years. She was a homemaker and also worked at Clifton Manufacturing. Ms. Burns was also a member of the Savannah First Methodist Church and she enjoyed quilting.
She departed this life on April 10, 2006 at the Hardin County Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 75 years 7 months and 5 days.
Ms. Burns is survived by 2 sisters: Neely Lowe of Olive Hill, Tennessee and Gladys Baker of Clifton, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 sister, Myrtle Baker and
5 brothers: Robert, T.J., Billy Gean, Ralph and John Benjamin Burns.
