Willis Phillip Hacker

September 19, 1919 — November 21, 2010

Mr. Hacker, a resident of Grand Valley Lakes near Saulsbury, died early Sunday morning at his home.



He was the son of the late Henry T. and Florence Hahn Hacker and had lived in Wyoming; New York; Harrison, Arkansas; and Saulsbury. The husband of Katherin Hacker, whom he married on June 15, 1996, he was retired from the New York State Thru-Way system. Mr. Hacker served his country during World War II in the US Army from March, 1944 - November, 1945.



In addition to his wife, he leaves seven daughters, Charlotte Berisford of Emery, SD; Judy Ford of Omaha, AR; Barbara Turner of Saulsbury, TN; Rose Jordan of Waterloo, IA; Gloria Cox of Orlando, FL; Mary Kearns and Martha Krajewski, both of Memphis, TN; 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.



He was preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Carl.
