Willie David Thacker

Willie David Thacker was born November 3, 1937 in Shiloh, Tennessee the son of the late Samuel and Edna Mae Sowell Thacker. Mr. Thacker was united in marriage to Ellalean Burks. She preceded him in death on February 20, 2005. Mr. Thacker was a member of the West Shiloh Baptist Church. Mr. Thacker departed this life on May 5, 2006 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 68 Years, 6 Months, 2 Days. He is survived by five daughters: Joyce Richardson of Huffman, Texas, Anita Mosier of Counce, Tennessee, Angela Marie Jackson of Counce, Tennessee, Mary Winters of Portland, Tennessee and Joy Foster of Michie, Tennessee; a son, David Thacker Jr. of Counce, Tennessee; a step-daughter, Elizabeth Moore of Michie, Tennessee; a step-son, Clint Lewey of Michie, Tennessee; three sisters: Barbara Loredith Salony of Fontana, California, Bonnie Brown of Bethel Springs, Tennessee and Graple Strawn of Memphis, Tennessee; two brothers: Samuel Thacker Jr. of Columbia, South Carolina and Eugene Thacker of Shiloh, Tennessee; 15 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, 3 Step Grandchildren and 4 Step Great Grandchildren.In addition to his parents and spouse, Mr. Thacker was also preceded in death by a step-son, Nathan Lewey; four sisters: Viola White, Ethel Lineberry, Frances Thacker and Pauline Thacker; and a brother, J. W. Thacker.
