Willie Dee Ray

November 29, 1927 — March 11, 2016

Willie Dee Ray was born in Wayne County, November 29, 1927 the son of the late Wesley Earl Ray and Janetta Culp Ray Kyle.

Mr. Ray was united in marriage to his late wife Lockie Bell Ray on July14, 1946 in Corinth Mississippi.

He was a well known auto mechanic and his hobbies included fishing, gardening and reading the Bible.

Mr. Ray departed this life March 11, 2016 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 3 Months, 11 Days.

He is survived by four sons, Billie Gean Ray of Clifton, TN, Jerry Wayne Ray and wife June of Linden, TN, Jimmy Dan Ray and wife Cathy of Savannah, TN, Aubrey Dean Ray and wife Donita of Waynesboro, sister, Blondell Lee of Nashville TN; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Ray was preceded in death by his wife Lockie Bell Ray, and two brothers Curtis Ray and W.E. Ray.
