Willie O'Neal McCormick

Willie O'Neal McCormick of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, was born on October 5, 1936, the son of the late Sidney and May Henderson McCormick. He was a retired Master Electrician with Memphis Light Gas and Water with nearly 27 years service.He was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church, the Shelby County Red Cross Rescue Squad, the Shelby County "Far A-way" Cherokee Association, the Shelby County Reserve Deputy Association, and the Memphis M.R.C.B.C. Association. Mr. McCormick departed this life on Monday, December 31, 2007, in Corinth, Mississippi, at the age of 71 years, 2 months, and 26 days. Survivors are his wife Polly Ann Smith McCormick; a son, Jerry McCormick and wife Sandra, all of Bethel Springs; one sister, Mavis Griffin; two brothers, James McCormick and R. D. McCormick, all of Rogers Springs, Tennessee.Also survived by two granddaughters, Crystal McCormick and Heather McCormick, and a host of other relatives and friends.
