Willie Mae Kimmons

WILLIE MAE (AUNT BILL) KIMMONSwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on August 2, 1914 the daughter of the late Levi S. and Ada Welch Perry.On March 23, 1930 she was united in marriage to Joseph Bynum Kimmons, who preceded his wife in death on September 27, 1968,Mrs. Kimmons did alterations for Casual Closet. She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Home Demonstration Club. Mrs. Kimmons enjoyed sewing, cooking and was very active in church functions.She departed this life on April 14, 2008 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 93 years, 8 months and 9 days.Mrs. Kimmons is survived by one daughter, Kathryn Joyce Murray and her husband Leo of Cleveland, Tennessee.one son, Dr. Joe Lanier Kimmons and his wife Elizabeth of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.4 granddaughters and 2 grandsons, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildrenMrs. Kimmons was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Gertie Perry and Virgie Ervin and 4 brothers, Earl, Raymond, Harrison and Wheeler Perry.
