Ms. Harris died Friday at the Bolivar General Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Haskell Maury Harris and Birdie Mae Ridgell Harris and a life-long resident of Hardeman County. She was a developmental worker with the Hardeman County Developmental Center and a member of the Parrans Chapel Baptist Church.
She leaves a sister, Sandra K. Steppe of Jackson and a brother, Gerald M. Harris of Senatobia, MS. Ms. Harris was preceded in death by a sister, Sabra H. Vincent and a brother, Emory R. Harris.
