Miss Ellis was a retired homemaker.
Miss Ellis departed this life on May 8, 2015 at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 72 Years, 5 Months, 12 Days.
She is survived by three daughters, Jan Carpenter of Milledgeville, TN, Sherry Lyn Cook of Southaven, MS, Terry Harper of Sheriton, IL; three sons, Jesse Ellis of Fairbury, IL, Jeffery Ellis of Savannah, TN, and Darren Ellis of Savannah, TN;
Three sisters, Linda Hughs of Illinois, Wanda Casey of Illinois, and Catherine Goepfert of Mississippi ; four brothers, Don Edlemon of Illinois, Gary Edlemon of Mississippi, Ronnie Edlemon of Illinois, and Eddie Edlemon of Illinois;
15 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Miss.Ellis was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Edlemon; a grandchild, Evey Harper; and grandparents William and Sarah Griffen.
Miss Ellis was a retired homemaker.
