Willie Burnell Doyle, 82, of Como, MS died Tuesday morning, July 11, 2006 at Baptist Hospital in Desoto, MS.
A native of Bolivar he was born April 9, 1924 to Vernon and Willie Owens Doyle, married Lou Nell Williamson on September 29, 1945. A member of Harmontown Baptist Church, he loved to fish and was considered "best crappie fisherman on Sardis Lake." He was a glazier for over 50 years and retired as manager for Nurre Glass Company. He lived in Como, MS for 20 years after moving to Memphis at age 18.
Survivors include his wife Lou Nell Doyle; a son, William Larry Doyle and wife Patricia of Coldwater, MS; two sisters, Nell Fahr and Evelyn Cross, both of Bolivar; two brothers, Jewel Doyle of Memphis and Bill Doyle of Hickory Valley, TN and two grandchildren, Pastor Kevin Doyle and Jackie Crowson, both of Coldwater, MS.
