Willie Jo Dancer

Willie Jo Dancer was born November 20, 1927 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Harrison and Ophie Blakely.She was united in marriage to Merrel Dancer on Friday, December 12, 1947.Ms. Dancer was Retired School Bus Driver for the McNairy County Department of Education whom she worked for 35 years. And a Member of the Fourth Street Church Of Christ.She departed this life on March 25, 2006 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 4 Months, 5 Days. Ms. Dancer is survived by her husband, Merrel Dancer of Selmer, a Daughter, Teresa and husband Tracy Chandler of Selmer, a Son, Tim and wife Sybil of Selmer, Tennessee, a Sister, Mary Kiser of Bethel Spring, Tennessee, a Brother, Doug Blakely of Selmer, Tennessee, Four Grandchildren, Brady and Clay Dancer and Blake and Matt Chandler.Ms. Dancer is preceded in death by her parents Harrison and Ophie Blakely, a sister, Johnnie Ferguson and a Brother, Warren Blakely.
