Services will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at 3:30 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with John Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens ,Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 17, 5:30--9:00 pm and on Sunday, March 18, 1:30--3:30 pm Shackelford Funeral Home , Waynesboro.
Mrs. Blackwell departed this life on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Wayne Care Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 94 Years, 9 Months, 15 Days. She was born May 29, 1917 in Waynesboro, TN the daughter of the late Arthur William and Vera Caroline Lay Kelley. In addition to her and parents, Mrs. Blackwell was preceded in death by husband; Sebern Earnest Blackwell; son, Larry W. Blackwell; grandson, Christopher Bolyn; sisters, Robbie (Kelley) Bates, Mable (Kelley) Devore and Ruth (Kelley) Smith.
Mrs. Blackwell was a grocery store clerk . She was a member of the Elwell Road Church of Christ in Belleville, Michigan.
She is survived by son, Kennith W. Blackwell of Waynesboro, TN; daughters, Leva Nell Clements; of Waynesboro, TN, and Barbara June Brehmer of Belleville, MI; brothers, Alfred Earl Kelley of Florence, AL and Farris Ray Kelley of Waynesboro, TN; sister, Frances (Kelley) Pitts of Savannah, TN; 13 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren
