William Wood

William Wood Jr. was born November 18, 1932 in Hardin County, Tennessee the son of the late William Mancil and Loiuse Wood. He was united in marriage to Barbara Rhodes on July 3, 1965.Mr. Wood was a retired foreman from Garan Manufacturing in Corinth Mississippi, served honorably in the United States Army, and member of the Center Hill Baptist Church. He was a loving husband and best friend and enjoyed being with family and friends.Mr. Wood departed this life on July 31, 2007 at his residence in Michie, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 8 Months, 13 Days. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Barbara Rhodes Wood of Michie, Tennessee; sister, Irene Carroll of Counce, Tennessee; four brothers, Bobby Wood, Ray Wood, David Wood, and Roger Wood all of Counce, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Carlean Gray and husband David of Michie, Tennessee; niece, Carolyn Wolfe of Jackson, Tennessee; special friend, Doris Nalin of Evansville, Indiana.In addition to his parents, Mr. Wood was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Wood.
