Mr. Wilson died early Sunday morning, October 15, 2006 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The husbans of Margaret Elizabeth Vaughan Wilson, who survives, he was a farmer and retired from Moltan at Brownfield after over 20 years of employment. Mr. Wilson was born May 12, 1928 in Hardeman County, son of the late Joe and Zelda Pirtle Wilson and lived here all of his life. He was a member of Forest Hill Pentecostal Church.
In addition to his wife, whom he married March 4, 1994, survivors include one daughter, Wanda Wilson of Bolivar; three sons, G. W. Wilson of Bolivar, William Wilson Jr of Jackson and Robert Wilson of Hornsby; stepdaughter & stepson, Dana Borders and Danny Plunkett both of Bolivar; eleven grandchildren, Zondra Scott, Jimmy Smith, Jamie Lynn, Jeremy and Chris Wilson, Robin Marek, Renee’ Balentine, Mickey, Lynn and Kenny Irvin and Sherry Frye; eight step- grandchildren, T. J., Tyler and Ally Borders, Jonathan, Christie, Chasity and David Flatt and Amanda Robinson; thirty great grandchildren, Brittany Scott, McKenzie & Casey Smith, Shannon, Matthew, Amanda, Whitney, A. J., McKinley, Tanner, Mitchell, Clay and Andrew Wilson, Emily, Zach and Matthew Marek, Kara, Amber and Elijah Balentine, Emma and Whitney Frye, Ben, Will, Stacy, Dustin, Nick, Ashley, Kimberly, Kayla and Josh Irvin; and seven step- great grandchildren, Clint & Emily Flatt, Alexis, Seth and Lee Ann Alexander, Hope Robinson and Aidan Johnson. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Emma Jane Ervin Wilson, who died in 1981, and a daughter, Shirley Marie Irvin.
