Services for W. H. Thompson, Jr., age 89, of Waynesboro, TN will be Saturday, May 13, 2006 at 3:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Waynesboro, with Ed Lopp and J. M. Weeks officiating Burial will be in Walker Cemetery, Waynesboro, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.
He died Thursday, May 11, 2006 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro.
A native of Wayne County, TN, Mr. Thompson was a logger and a member of Ray’s Chapel Baptist Church and Seventh Day Adventist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William H. Thompson, Sr. and Elvie Morrison Thompson, his wife, Audrey White Thompson, his brother, Wilburn Thompson and an infant brother, a grandson, Danny Brewer, and a great-granddaughter, Angel Brewer.
Survivors, daughters, Norma Jackson of Waynesboro, TN and Faye Johnson of Corinth, MS, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
He died Thursday, May 11, 2006 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro.
