Memorial services for William Evon Strickland, age 56, of Waynesboro, TN will be Tuesday, June 19, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro, TN with Michael Mathers officiating. At his request, his body will be cremated.
Mr. Strickland was found dead on Saturday, June 10, 2006 in Lawrence County, TN.
A native of Falkville, AL, he was a siding applicator in construction work and was a son of the late Clifford and Dennie Gore Strickland, the father of the late Tina Lavonda Strickland, a brother of the late Freddy, Billy, Bobby, and James Strickland, and the grandfather of the late Aundrea (Nickie) Cooper.
Survivors, sons, William Anthony Strickland, Evon Heath Strickland, Cody Dwayne Strickland, daughters, Rhonda Rena Tillman, all of Waynesboro, TN and Thelma Amanda Cooper of Bowling Green, KY, five grandchildren, William Kent Strickland, Austin Cassidy Goodman, Whitney Shay Thompson, Mary Makayla Tillman, Jennie LeAnn Cooper, brother, Frank Strickland, Cullman, AL, sister, Ethel Mae Strickland, Cullman, AL, nieces and nephews.
