William Ross

William (Sweet) Ross was born March 12, 1934 in Savannah, Tennessee the son of the late William Ulysses and Ada Goodlow Ross.He was united in marriage to Billie Gwen Yarbrough on December 8, 1971.Mr. Ross is survived by his wife Billie Gwen (Yarbrough) Ross of Savannah, TN; two daughters, Meredith Gwen (Ross) Jones of Savannah, TN, Jo Ann (Yarbrough) Pettigrew of Savannah, TN; three sons, William Eulie Ross Jr. of Savannah, TN, Peter Allen Ross of Clifton, TN, Lee Antione Yarbrough of Memphis, TN; two sisters, Mae Corrine Porter of Savannah, TN, Rosie Lee Neal of Lawton, OK; and four grandchildren, Valarie Jonitha Kinney, Rasheed Malik Ross, Anastasia Marie Yarbrough, Alex Antione Yarbrough. One great grandson, Tyre Makael Yarbrough of Savannah, Tennessee.In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by two sisters, Connie Burns and Pearline Dillahunt and eight brothers, Grady (Bud) Ross, Cecil Ross, Ernest (Mike) Ross, Eldridge Ross, Raymond Dillahunt, Frank Willie Lee Dillahunt, Henry Dillahunt and Grady Ross.. Mr. Ross departed this life on July 7, 2010 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 3 Months, 25 Days.
