William Robert Rickman

Mr. William Robert Rickman was born September 14, 1920 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Ollie Vester and Daisy Stropshire Bright.He was a retired truck driver and security guard .He was a member of the Bellevue Baptist Church in Germantown, Tennessee. Mr. Bright was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II - European Theater.Mr. Rickman departed this life on August 31, 2005 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 84 Years, 11 Months, 17 Days.He is survived by two sisters, Rachel Ervin of Memphis, Tennessee, Neva Faye Hutching of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one brother, Wesley Rickman of Stantonville, Tennessee, three grandchildren, Sunshine Gant and husband Toby of Corinth, Mississippi, Crystal Rickman of Jackson, Tennessee, Robert Larry Rickman Jr. and wife Mandy of Selmer; five great grandchildren, Tyler Brown, Dustin Gant, Sadie Grace Gant, Brittany Rickman and Emma Paige Rickman and niece and primary caregiver Barbara Bright and husband Junior of Selmer.Other than his parents, Mr. Rickman was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Larry Rickman and Jerry Wayne Rickman; two sisters, Loneda Gardner and Bonnie Ruth Rickman; two brothers, Bobby Gene Rickman and J. P. Rickman and one grandchild, Jerrick Wayne Rickman.
