Mr. William David Reed, 63, of Hornsby, died Friday, July 14, 2006, at the Bolivar General Hospital.
Son of the late William Thomas Reed and Mary Katherine Reed, he was born August 15, 1942 in Rosemark, TN. He was a Pentecostal in belief, loved his kids and the outdoors. A disabled welder, he lived in this area the past 14 years.
He is survived by two daughters, Deborah Jones of Bethel Springs and Katherine James of Ashland, MS; one son, James David Reed of Bethel Springs; three sisters, Beulah Heaton of Alabama and Frances and Lois Armstrong, both of Mousetail Landing, TN; his brother, Charles Reed of Memphis; eight grandchildren, April Stewart, Dewayne McCay, Holly Vandiver, Jessica and Brandon Reed, James David Reed, Jr., Jesse and Franklin James; seven great-grandchildren, Bailey, Chloe and Emma Stewart, Timmy, Steven, Christina and Andrea McCay. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Donnie Walker and Pauline Davis and three brothers, Matthew, Andrew and Enos Reed.
