William Reaves

William Timothy "Timmy" Reaves was born December 5, 1959 in Savannah, TN the son of Vernon and the late Robbie Hunt Reaves. He lived most of his adult life in Louisiana. Timmy worked for many years as a Tankerman at the marina. He was a kind soul that loved everyone especially his family. Timmy departed this life on June 6, 2023 in Florence, AL at the age of 63 years, 6 months, and 1 day.

He is survived by his father, Vernon Reaves; companion of 20+ years, Vickie Johnson of Florence, AL; brother, Jeff Reaves of Florence, AL; sisters, Kathy Cossey (Donnie) of Savannah, TN, and Donna Reaves of Florence, AL; aunt, Elaine Ford of Savannah, TN, and Betty Reaves of NC; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his mother, Timmy is preceded in death by his grandparents, William T. and Goldie Reaves, and William and Beadie Hunt; and his brothers, David Beckham and Joey Baker.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm service time at Piney Grove Church in Cypress Inn, TN.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Piney Grove Church in Cypress Inn, TN, with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
