William Houston Ramsey

William Houston Ramsey of Selmer, Tennessee, was born on August 3, 1947, to Frances Elizabeth Davis Ramsey of Selmer and the late Howell Houston Ramsey. He was a retired pipefitter and a member of Steamfitters Local Union No. 614. He was united in marriage to Debbie Athenais who survives. Mr. Ramsey was a member of Selmer First Christian Church. He loved to walk and bike at Shiloh National Military Park and did a routine workout and walk at the Selmer Community Center. He was also a proud member of the BMW Motorcycle Association.Mr. Ramsey departed this life on Thursday, May 15, 2008, in Selmer, at the age of 60 Years, 9 Months, and 12 Days.Survivors are his wife Debbie; his mother, Frances Ramsey; a daughter, Robin Denise Stone and husband Richard Allen; a son, David Blakely, all of Selmer; 2 brothers, John David Ramsey and wife Dale of Dyersburg, Tennessee, and Lloyd Nelson Ramsey and wife Laverne of Selmer.Grandchildren, Alex Ramsey, Andrew Ramsey, Kelsee Blakely, and Kaylee BlakelyA host of other relatives and friends.
