William Ray Osborn

William Ray Osborn was born July 22, 1928 in Ramer, TN the son of the late Marvin and Lillie King Osborn.

On March 2, 1952, he was united in marriage to Winnie Gresham. Mr. Osborn was a retired Truck Driver. He was a member of the Antioch church of Christ in Ramer. He loved gardening and taking his family on vacation to the mountains. He also enjoyed going to cardiac rehab and spending time with his church family.

Mr. Osborn departed this life on August 15, 2016 in Ramer at the age of 88 Years, 24 Days. He is survived by his his wife Winnie (Gresham) Osborn of Ramer; two daughters, Linda (Osborn) Pippenger and husband Steve of Michie, TN and Ann (Osborn) Maxedon and husband Jim of Selmer, TN; four grandchildren, Todd Pippenger, Laura Settlemires, Wendy Smith, and Shiloh Maxedon; five great grandchildren, Randall Pippenger, Lucas Pippenger, Connor Settlemires, Bell Settlemires, and Shelby Smith; and two great great granddaughters as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Osborn was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Jessica Smith; two sisters, Montyrue Gurley and May McAlpin; and two brothers, David Osborn and Jesse Osborn.

Services will be held on August 17, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Antioch church of Christ in Ramer, TN with Nat Evans and Darrin Stapleton officiating. Burial to follow in the Antioch church of Christ Cemetery.
