William Freeman Miller

William Freeman Miller, age 77 of Collierville, passed from this life Monday, January 19, 2009 at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis.He was born February 8, 1931 in Haynesville, Alabama. Since he was 19, he worked as a farmer and later as a machine operator in a shirt lining factory, and on Christmas Eve, 1950, he married Alline Wlkinson, who survives. He was a member of the Marlow Church of Christ in Walnut, MS.In addition to his wife, survivors include four daughters, Judy Gurley (Mitchell) of Potts Camp, Pam White (Lee) of Benton County, AR, and Ann Miller and Betty Wilson (Kent), both of Collierville; a son, Larry Miller (Mary) of Marion, AR; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Merle and Virgie Sides and a sister, Betty Lou Miller.Memorials may be sent to Pine Vale Children's Home at 1872 County Rd 700, Corinth, MS 38834.
