William Frank McGee

William Frank McGee, age 88, was born March 29, 1920 in Wayne Co., Tennessee to the late John McGee, Jr. and Pearl Ester Dixon McGee. Mr. McGee departed this life on May 12, 2008 at Heartland of Oregon Nursing Home in Oregon, Ohio. In addition to his parents, Mr. McGee was preceded in death by his wife Iva Lee McGee; a brother, Mr. Loyd McGee; and a sister, Mrs. Prebble (McGee) Harvey. He was a retired factory worker and a member of United Auto Workers.He is survived by a son, Mr. Robert F. McGee of Toledo, OH; a daughter, Mrs. Jane (McGee) Grimes of Oregon, OH; 8 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Jewel (McGee) Thompson of Waynesboro, TN, Mrs. Dixie (McGee) Canby of Johnstown, PA; and nieces and nephews.Services will be held on Monday, May 19, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Highland Methodist Church near Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, with Cal Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Methodist Church Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of arrangements.
