William Richard McCommon

William Richard (Bill) McCommon, 83, from Grand Junction, died Saturday, September 9, 2006 at the Tri-County Convalescent Home in Adamsville, TN due to a massive stroke. He is the son of the late Roy and Lorene (Mercer) McCommon of Saulsbury, TN. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grand Junction, where he served as deacon. He was the former manager of the Bank at Grand Junction and participated in many social and civil activities. He is survived by his wife, Lillian (Wiles) McCommon of Stoughton, WI; three sons, David Richard (Rickey) McCommon of Charleston, SC, Mark McCommon of Prescott, AZ and Jack McCommon of Stoughton, WI; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. He had four brothers: Roy Leldon McCommon of Mobile, AL, Hubert McCommon of Memphis, Rev. John Bernard McCommon of Jackson and Charles H. McCommon (deceased) of Saulsbury; one sister, Hugholine (McCommon) Cummings of Germantown.
