Mr. McClintock died Friday at the Hendersonville (TN) Medical Center.
A native of Hornsby, he was the son of the late Everette and Bertha Gilchrist McClintock. He graduated from Bolivar Central High School in 1959 and lived in Jackson before moving to middle Tennessee where he worked for Associated Grocers over 22 years. He was a Methodist.
Survivors are his wife, Faye Smith McClintock of Cottontown; a step-daughter, Stacy Susane Smith of Jackson; a step-son, Geoffry Smith of Cottontown; two sisters, Wilda White of Memphis and Fayrene Galbraith of Henderson; two brothers, Royce McClintock of Franklin and Anthony McClintock of Jackson; three step-grandchildren, Robin, Benson and Jacob Smith.
