William A Mast

William A. Mast, age 77 years, 9 months and one day, passed away at his home in Bethel Springs, TN on May 24th, 2021.

Visitation will be from 2:pm to 4:pm and 6:pm to 8:pm on Wednesday, May 26th, 2021 at Finger Christian Fellowship, Finger, TN.

Funeral services will be held at 10:am on Thursday, May 27th, 2021 at Finger Christian Fellowship - burial will follow at the adjoining cemetery.

William was the third of fifteen children born to Andrew H. and Sarah (Miller) Mast. He was born in Dover, Delaware and grew up in Dover, Delaware and Kenton, Ohio. He married the love of his life, Emma S. (Troyer) Mast on April 9th, 1964. In 1976, along with his wife and growing family he moved to McNairy County, TN. He is best known for his faith and Christian example to all who knew him – he lived his life every day attempting to serve his maker and in furtherance of the kingdom of heaven. He was a farmer, business owner and respected leader in the community.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents Andy H. Mast and Sarah (Miller) Mast, two sisters, Ada (Mast) Beachy, one stillborn, two grandchildren Weston Avery Mast and Colton Walker Mast and one great-grandchild, Grant Dawson Leid.

William is survived by his loving wife, Emma (Troyer) Mast, 11 children. Simon (Katherine) of Denver, PA, Andy (Mary) of Lynchburg, TN, Lydia Raber (John) of Narvon, PA – Norman Mast (Clara Mae) of Bethel Springs, TN – Rudy Mast (Shelly) of Bethel Springs, TN – Mary Tyler (Tad) of Topeka, KS – Barbara Wanner (Raymond) of Bethel Springs, TN – Susanna Miller (Linford) of Belvedere, TN Timothy “Tim” Mast (Ruth Anne) of Bethel Springs, TN – William Mast, Jr. (Carolyn) of Bethel Springs, TN – and Irene Wanner (Jonathan) of Paris, MI. He has 65 Grandchildren – Children of Simon and Katherine Mast - Jeffery, Jonathan, Philip (Eva) Melissa, Katrina, Eric, Lavern, Sara-Beth, Joel and Deborah. Children of Andy Mary Mast – Melody Ahmadi Goli (Saman) Andrea Bragg (Matthew) Emily Muwafaq (Saif) Kayla West (Trevor) Marybeth, Kyle and Karl. Children of John and Lydia Raber, Joy Loraine Leid (Wayne) Jarren (Liz) Joanna Peachy (Josh) Janelle, Justina, John Lorren, Larissa, Justin, Jerriah, Jemima, Jackson and Jedrick. Children of Norman Mast - Savannah, Kayla Dellah and Lilly. Children of Rudy Mast – Stephanie Denson (J.D.) Angela Martin (Benjamin) Karren Beachy (Jordan) Jennifer Beachy (Josiah) Natalie, Ashley, Sean and Molly. Children of Tad and Mary Tyler – Ray, Luke, Mark and Rosaleigh. Children Of Raymond and Barbara Wanner – Breanna, Mark, Jeremy, Travis, Alec and Evan. Children of Linford and Susanna Miller - Allana Rose and Grayson. Children of Tim and Ruth Anne Mast – Lilah, Wyatt, Kaitlynn and Peyton. Children of Junior and Carolyn Mast – Brooke, Brittany, Weston (deceased) and Colton (deceased). Children of Jonathan and Irene Wanner – Jeremiah, Collin, Serena and Charles. He had 15 Great-Grandchildren – Maddi Bragg - Jenna Muwafaq – Preston, Kayleah, Jase and Grant(deceased) Leid – Blake and Declan Raber – Jalena and Benjamin Peachy – Alessia Denson – Kade and Noel Martin – Clayton and Wesley Beachy - Asha, Ahava, eyvan, Ethan, jasper and Jordan Tyler
