William Thomas (Tommy) Martin

William Thomas (Tommy) Martin William Thomas Martin, Iron City, TN, was born January 3, 1952 in Wayne County, TN, the son of the late William Jackson and Annie Jeanette Lancaster Martin. He was united in marriage to the former Carolyn Ann Givens on August 25, 1973 and was a retired press operator at Murray Ohio.

Mr. Martin departed this life on Saturday, October 29, 2022 peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends, after a brief illness.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Carolyn Givens Martin, sons, Jason and his wife, Jessica and Josh, grandchilden, MacKenzie Martin and Peyton Martin all of Iron City, TN; four brothers, Dalton Martin, Donnie Martin, Billy Martin and Joel Martin all of Collinwood, TN; two sisters, Annie (Robert) Ayers of Lutts, Tn and Opal Hayes of Florence, AL.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Martin was preceded in death by three brothers, James Martin, Jerry Martin, Robert Martin and sister, Ethel Martin.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 1 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, TN with Robert Marks officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Iron City, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 11 am to service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Joey West, Andy West, Chris Lawson, Joey Lawson, Levi Arnett and Peyton Martin.
