William Lindsey

William (Slim) Lindseywas born in Cherokee, Alabama on March 18, 1934 the son of the late Heck and Mary Elizabeth Pilkinton Lindsey.On December 24, 1956 he was united in marriage to Earline Corm, who survives.Mr. Lindsey retired from Pickwick Landing State Park as a Custodian. He enjoyed collecting and selling antiques, and working on old cars.He departed this life on Friday, March 9, 2012 at the age of 77 years, 11 months, 20 days.He is survived by his wife, Earline Lindsey of Savannah, Tennessee; a son, Clyde William Lindsey of Savannah, Tennessee; a daughter, Mary M. Rickman of Stantonville, Tennessee; 2 grandchildren, Marc Anthony Rickman and Lucas Andrew Rickman both of Stantonville, Tennessee; 2 sisters, Nell Black of Massachusetts and Elizabeth Swader of Florence, Alabama.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lindsey; 2 sisters, Vercie Fisher and Louise Northum; foster parent, Momey McCoy Dickerson.
