William Richard Laughlin

Mr. William Richard Laughlin, age 61, departed this life Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Mr. Laughlin was born in Hardeman County April 11, 1952 to the late Francis Laughlin and lived there for most of his life. Past residences also include Carrol County, McNairy County and Shelby County. He worked as a logger and truck driver for Simmons' Trucking Company and also drove for Baggett Trucking Company as well as Nationwide Trucking. He was Baptist in faith.
Survivors include his longtime companion, Theresa L. Bottoms of Whiteville; two daughters, Stacy D. Ammons of Millington, TN and Brandi Dearmin of Bolivar; a sister, Brenda Harris of Trezvant, TN; and two brothers, Jerry Laughlin and wife Betty of Jackson, TN and Tommy Jones and wife Shirley of Bethel Springs, TN. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
