William H. (Dub) Kiser of Bethel Springs was born on August 6, 1926, to the late Lester Earl and Carrie Lyles Kiser. He served two enlistments in the United States Army and was awarded the World War II Victory Medal. He married Rachel Ellis on January 6, 1954, and was a truck driver for the former City Lumber Company in Selmer. He was a member of the Bethel Springs First Baptist Church.Mr. Kiser passed from this life on Wednesday, April 30, 2008, in Adamsville, Tennessee, at the age of 81 Years, 8 Months, and 24 Days.Survivors are his wife of 54 years, Rachel Kiser; four daughters, Sheila Rickman and husband John of Selmer, Sherry Sperling and husband Mike of Bethel Springs, Mary Sue Crowe and husband Terry of Bethel Springs, and Jimmie Burchette and husband Richard of Middleton, Tennessee; two sons, William C. Kiser and wife Lassie of Jackson, Tennessee, and Richard A. "Tony" Kiser and wife Tammy of Pocahontas, Tennessee; a sister, Madeline Coats of Houston, Texas, two brothers, Edward Ray Kiser of Jackson, Tennessee, and Jerry Wayne Kiser of Guys, Tennessee.21 Grandchildren34 Great GrandchildrenA host of other relatives and friends.
