William George (WG) Howell

William George (W. G.) Howell of Clifton, TN was born December 3, 1941 in Clifton, TN, the son of the late Henry Clifford and Lorene Lee Hickerson Howell. He was united in marriage to Juanita Irene Hammack on December 14, 1963 and she preceded him in death on August 11, 2011.

Mr. Howell was a cutting floor supervisor for 36 years at Hickory Hills Mfg in Clifton, TN and was a member of the Riverside Methodist Church. He had also worked at the Hardin County Stockyard in Savannah, TN.

Mr. Howell departed this life on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at NHC Healthcare, Scott in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee at the age of 73 Years, 3 Months, 1 Day.

He is survived by daughters, Donna Franks and husband, Dwayne of Manchester, TN and Connie Robinson and husband, Rob of Antioch, TN; grandchildren, Michelle Privett and husband, Jesse and Ethan and Kayla Robinson; a brother, Jackie Howell and wife, Connie of Temple, GA; a sister, Sheree Pratt of Smyrna, TN; nieces and nephews.

Services will be Monday, March 9, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Riverside Methodist Church in Clifton, Tennessee, with Harold Morris and Josh Layne officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Dwayne Franks, Rob Robinson, Bruce Howell, Bruce Hickerson, Randal Hickerson, Siren Culp and Jr. Halford. Ethan Robinson will serve as a honorary pallbearer.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 5 pm to 8 pm and Monday, March 9, 2015 from 10 am to service time at Riverside Methodist Church.
