William L. "Leslie" Holland was born October 29, 1918 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Eber C. Holland and Sular Plunk Holland.
He was united in marriage to Arlie Stutts on Saturday, November 9, 1946.
Mr. Holland worked at Brown Shoe Company for 34 years and he retired in 1981.
He was a member of the Calvary Chapel Church, Granger IN; the
VFW of Selmer and a World War II Army Veteran having served in the Pacific Region.
Mr. Holland departed this life on April 27, 2006 in South Bend, Indiana at the age of 87 Years, 5 Months, 29 Days. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Arlie Stutts Holland of Mishawaka, IN; daughter M. Monnette Moore and husband Rev. Bob Moore of Mishawaka, IN; son Rev. Larry Holland and wife Suzanne of Frisco, TX; three grandchildren Michael and wife Laura Holland, Michelle Holland and Merideth and husband Ryan Searfoss; four great-grandchildren Rachel and Rebecca Holland, Alexander and Nicholas Searfoss; five brothers Cleo and wife Grace Holland of Jackson TN, Melvin and wife Gazelle Holland of Henderson TN, Charles and wife Sue Holland of Union City TN, Perry and wife Frances Holland of Savannah TN and David and wife Joyce Holland of Savannah TN.
Mr. Holland was preceded in death by his parents Eber C. and Sular Plunk Holland; one sister Charlotte Holland; three brothers N.L. Holland, Carlos Holland and Elmo Holland.
He was united in marriage to Arlie Stutts on Saturday, November 9, 1946.
