Services for William Arlis Hobbs, age 73, of Collinwood, TN, will be Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood, IN with Mark Judy officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Greenwood, IN. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the
local arrangements.
He died at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, TN on Friday, November 10, 2006.
A native of McMinnville, TN, he was a retired warehouse man for Kroger Foods, was a member of Wayne Bible Center in Waynesboro, TN, was a member of the American Legion Collinwood Post # 254, was a member of the Teamster’s Local, was a United States Army veteran, and participated with others at the Collinwood Senior Citizens Center in Collinwood, TN. He and his wife have made their home in Wayne County, TN since 2000 after living in Indianapolis, IN.
Mr. Hobbs was a son of the late Henry and Callie Sarah Ellen Gooch Hobbs and a brother of the late Charles Eugene Hobbs, James Claudine Hobbs, and J. B. Hobbs.
