He was born in Chester County, son of the late Odell and Margaret Rouse Henley. He attended school in Chester County. He was married to Martha Ann Newsom in 1964. They made their home in Henderson. He was a brick mason most of his life.
He is survived by his wife Martha Ann Henley of Henderson; a daughter Lorie Ann Henley of Henderson and three sons Dell Henley (Sherry), Scott Henley (Christy) both of Henderson and Lee Henley of Middleton; 6 grandchildren; 7 sisters Rosie Parker of Huston, TX, Minnie Tidwell, Clara Mae Howell, Maddell Stansell, Mary Creasy, Patricia Henley and Wilma Jones all of Henderson and 4 brothers Bobby Henley, Billy Wayne Wiley, Jackie Henley and Mike Henley all of Henderson.
