Mr. Harrison was born in Memphis the son of Freddie Burnes Harrison and Alice Hale Barker. He was a 1975 graduate of Lexington High School and enterd the U.S. Army and was a dental hygienist graduating St. Phillips College in San Antonio, Texas. He served overseas in Burlin and Korea for ten years. He then served in the Civil Service at Fort Stewart for six years. He moved back to this area in 1992. He had worked at Kelley’s Foods and Premier Manufacturing. He was injured in an auto accident in November 2006 and been disabled since then.
He is survived by his mother Alice Hale Barker and step father Cecil Barker of Enville; his father Freddie Burnes Harrison of Humboldt, a son Thomas Daniel Harrison of Atlanta, GA, daughter Alicia Marie Harris and husband Richard of Indian Harbor Beach, FL, grandchild Lillian Harris, and three sisters; Sandra Baskerville of Jonesboro, AR, Wanda Hart of Pinson, and Theda Harris of Jackson.
