William Ell Cupples

William Ell Cupples was born July 28, 1936 in Bethel Springs, TN the son of the late Ell and Agnes Bell Murray Cupples.

He was united in marriage to Shirley Katrina Holmes on January 20, 1956.

Mr. Cupples was employed with Henry Furniture for the past 44 years. He was an active member of Union Grove Methodist Church serving as Superintendent of Sunday school and song leader. He was an avid and loyal fan of the St. Louis Cardinal baseball. He was a devoted "Pop" to his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mr. Cupples departed this life on June 28, 2016 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 79 Years, 11 Months. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley Cupples of Selmer, TN; daughter, Sandy Cupples Parimore of Jackson, TN; daughter-in-law, Daphne Cupples of Savannah , TN; a sister, Georgia Isbell and husband Charles of Bethel Springs, TN; five grandchildren, Britney Jones and husband Tyler, Taryn Morris and husband Josh, Camron Cupples and wife Morgan, Taylor Wright and husband Preston, Tatum Parimore; six great grandchildren, Bryce Morris, Sawyer Kate Morris, Hudson Jones, Tate Jones, Max Cupples, Grayson Cupples.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Cupples was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Cupples.
